The Green Party of Virginia will hold its first quarterly meeting in Richmond on Sunday, February 8, 2004, from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM. All GPVA members are invited. Please download your own copy of the current GPVA Bylaws. Discussion of the proposals to be decided upon is welcome on the gpva-business list. Committees Co-Chairs and Local Contacts, please submit your reports via email to the GPVA Co-Chair and the webweaver one week in advance of the meeting. The GPVA makes its decisions by consensus process. Try it, you'll like it.

Individuals showing up to the meeting that want to take part in discussion, consensus, or voting need to be GPVA Members listed in the roster of state party members. People not on the official roster can be observers. As each person registers, his or her name shall be looked for on the roster. If a non-member (someone not on the roster) attempts to disrupt the meeting in any fashion, the meeting will stop and a vote will be taken as to whether to make the meeting a closed meeting. If a majority votes to make it a closed meeting, observors will be asked to leave.
